Clash of the Clubs 2012
Bude, Wadebridge and Launceston tennis clubs are once again working together to provide a fantastic team competition.
Points will be awarded to each club for player participation, matches played and matches won.
The winning club has a trophy to take back to their venue!

Club Championships
Club Championships January 2012
This years contestants had to battle through a very cold wet January evening, to compete for the Club Championship! The event was very well supported, particularly in the girls section!
Girls
There were some very close encounters and excellent tennis played in difficult conditions. However, the ultimate winner was streaks ahead only dropping one game in all her matches!
Boys
The boys competition was very closely fought. Fantastic tennis and long rallies were seen with all the contestants very determined to become club champion. The majority of players in the mini competition had never played a compeition before and they quickly learnt to adapt their games to beat each other.

It was yet again a very successful event with many players attending all three venues.

Fund Raising
There is a sponsored walk taking place on Sunday 2nd October at 2pm. You can find a sign up sheet and sponsor form in the clubhouse. Hopefully we can raise lots of money for Rotary charities, Cancer Research and Bude Tennis Club.
The walk starts out at Crooklets and goes along the beach to Sandymouth and then back over the cliffs. Should be fun and good exercise.
Thank you to David and Joan for again organising the Bude Tennis Club treasure hunt. It was a GREAT SUCCESS. Well done to everyone who came, it was very well attended. Congratulations to the winning team Morag, Margaret, Norman, Gill and Julie.
A big thank you to Gill and Derek Cole and all their helpers who managed to raise £180 at their lovely coffee morning on 4th June. Thankyou to all those who attended.
