Clash of the Clubs
Bude, Wadebridge and Launceston tennis clubs are once again working together to provide a fantastic team competition.
Points will be awarded to each club for player participation, matches played and matches won.
The winning club has a trophy to take back to their venue.

Triple Club Competition December 2011
It was yet again a very successful event with many players attending all three venues.
The Bude Winners were...
Alex Harrison - Junior winner at Bude and Launceston
Lauren Dunn - Junior Winner at Bude and Wadebridge
Adam Dunn - Mini Green winner at all three venues
William Skinner - Mini Red Winner at Bude
Under 8 Tournament 26th September
Winner - Sammuel Jennings
Runner Up - Solly Kemball-Dorey
Bude Tennis Club Under 8's tournament took place on Saturday 26th September. It was a big draw with 14 players taking part and for many, it was there first ever tournament experience. The event was started with box matches, the winners and runners proceeding into a knock out stage. There were some very close matches throughout these stages.
The Semi Final games were very exciting! Sammuel Jennings (7) played Kyle Brown (7) in the first of them. Fantastic play was seen from both players. Kyle played a very attacking serve volley game finishing off several points with some terrific smashes! Sammuel Jennings however, managed to find a way to pass Kyle at the net and battled on to win the match 10-8!
The other Semi final match was Solly Kemball-Dorey against Ellie Turner. Both played a great game with Solly the eventual winner 10-2.
The crowd then gathered to watch the final. Sammuel versus Solly! The best of the best.
It was the first final both players had been involved in. Sammuel Jennings played a fantastic match under the pressure and won the Under 8's Championships without losing a single game!
Congratulations to both players who did very well throughout the whole tournament.
Other awards were given out for players who performed well and had a great sportsmanly attitude, these awards were given to Jago Barriball and Ellie Turner.
Thankyou to everyone who helped out on the day.

Four players represented Bude at the Dragon tennis centre.

All played brilliantly, overarm serves and attacking groundstrokes.

The Generation Tournament
The Generation Tournament was held on Monday 23rd July. It was a very successful evening, with twenty competing pairs. The Under 11 finalists were Liam White and Dad, with the winner being Albert Shepherd and older brother Will.
